Demo teams offer our students many benefits and are a great compliment our Karate program. Our routines are a combination of gymnastics, forms, self-defense and weapons artfully choreographed to upbeat music. The routines are developed around the abilities of each of the team members. Team members are constantly challenged to perform to the best of their ability while improving their skills and learning new, more challenging techniques. Our Demo teams show-off all their hard work at every Black Belt Graduation and at monthly graduations.
Our Teams
Starting on a Demo Team
- All teams require students be a member of the Black Belt Club with the exception of the White Lightning.
- New Demo Team members are accepted onto teams twice a year immediately following the Black Belt Graduation.
- To be accepted on the Blue Thunder you must pass a test of Karate skills and abilities
Performance at Graduation
In order to be eligible to perform with the demo team, a demo team members must show their commitment by attending a minimum number of demo team practice sessions. The requirements are as follows:
- Monthly Graduations - 70% or better attendance of all demo team practice sessions.
- Black Belt Graduation - 80% or better attendance of all demo team practice sessions.
